What we do with what you send us.
The site collects nothing on its own. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. Personal data arises in one place only: when you write to us. This page says what happens then — and, further down, which of the site's content is AI-generated.
Data controller

What we receive, and why
The contact form and the demo form open your own mail app with the message ready. The site sends nothing itself, and no server stores anything along the way. We receive something only when you press send in your mail app.
We then receive what you wrote: name, email address, organisation and your message — and for demo requests also role, site type and timeframe.
The purpose is to answer your enquiry and arrange any demo or briefing. The legal basis is GDPR article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in replying to someone who writes to us — and 6(1)(b) where the enquiry is a step prior to an agreement.
Writing to us is voluntary, and you decide how much you tell us. Name and email are needed for us to reply — leave them out, and we cannot get back to you. There is no other consequence of leaving fields empty.
How long, and who sees it
Your email sits in our mailbox. We keep it for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless the enquiry leads to a working relationship — then retention follows that agreement and Danish bookkeeping law.
We do not pass your information to third parties and do not use it for marketing. Our email is hosted by Simply.com A/S, which is therefore our data processor. No information is transferred outside the EU/EEA.
Your rights
You can at any time ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, have the processing restricted, object to it, or receive your information in a common format. Write to info@vaernsystems.com — we reply within one month.
We make no automated decisions about you and carry out no profiling. Your enquiry is read by a person.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby — datatilsynet.dk.
Cookies and technology
The site sets no cookies. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels and no embedded third-party code. Every image, video, font and script is served from our own domain — the site makes no outbound calls.
One thing is stored locally in your browser: your language choice, when you press EN/DA yourself. It lives in the browser's localStorage, never leaves your machine, and can be cleared with the rest of your browsing data. Because it delivers only a function you asked for yourself, it requires no consent under the Danish cookie order.
Our host at Simply.com keeps ordinary server logs with IP address and timestamp for operational and security reasons. That is a technical necessity, and we do not use it to follow visitors.
AI-generated content
Several of the images and video clips on this site are AI-generated. It is declared where they appear — and gathered here, so it can be found in one place. We do it because article 50 of the EU AI Act requires it from 2 August 2026, but just as much because a system meant to support decisions about airspace cannot afford to be unclear about what is real.
AI-generated: the front page background video and still, the flyover sequence, and the concept images on the VIGIL, SCOUT, CORE, NEXUS, STRIKER, Platform and Company pages. They show design intent and operating environment — not built hardware, and not footage from a real deployment. The video files additionally carry machine-readable provenance marking (C2PA Content Credentials), readable in any browser or editor that supports the standard.
Not AI: the technical line figures on the product pages are drawn from the system's own logic, and the sensor and track markers over the front page video are computed by that same logic. Screenshots of the HAMMER console are genuine screenshots — they cannot be AI-generated, because they show a real interface.
We do not use AI to process what you send us. Your enquiry is read by a person. There is no chatbot on the site, and no part of the site interacts with you through an AI system.
